Coach James Ford
Owner/Director Coach Ford was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, graduating from Tempe High School in 1986. Coach Ford played varsity basketball for the Tempe High Buffaloes and then went on to play college basketball at South Mountain Community College and Grossmont College (San Diego), before ending his college basketball career due to injuries prior to receiving a scholarship offer from Point Loma College. Coach Ford then went on to finish college at California State University Dominguez Hills.
Coach Ford is a 16 year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department, where he has served for over seven years as a school resource officer. Coach Ford's coaching career includes 13 years from the high school level to club ball, and as an assistant varsity coach, head junior varsity coach; and coaching some of Arizona's top club basketball talent for the Arizona Magic elite and senior teams as well as with the Arizona Wizards, the club Coach Ford founded in 2008 . |
